Overview tests

Efficient administration: every organisation’s dream

A sufficiently high work rate combined with precision: two crucial skills of an administrative worker. The range of administrative skills tests covers a wide range of tasks so that you can choose the test that best suits the job in practice. In some jobs, the emphasis is on looking up information efficiently. This can also identify how flexible someone is to adapt to a new task.

There are also tests that focus on recognising and/or copying figures that meet certain characteristics. Classifying objects according to certain criteria is also covered. These types of tests are not only indispensable in the administrative sector: you can use them for any white-collar job where work pace and precision are important.

The test Sort measures the ability to classify items according to certain characteristics.

Some objects or persons are presented in each question. Candidates have to discover and apply the classification characteristics of the different groups to categorise a particular person or object into the correct group.

The Sort is important for jobs where one has to make a decision based on the category to which an item belongs. This is the case in functions such as commercial staff, policy staff and administrative staff.

The Facts test evaluates whether candidates can find the correct information in an information file about a construction site and whether they copy the data correctly. Thus, the test measures both a person’s work rate (reading speed and search speed) and the accuracy of the look-up work.

The test contains both multiple-choice and open-ended questions on site safety, organisational and administrative aspects, knowledge of materials and technical details. All information is available in the info file.

The test is used in jobs where employees need to be able to keep track of a database of data, such as for logistics and administrative staff, and for coordinators.

In CALL, candidates have to look up the correct codes to find the desired product based on an auto insurance customer file. They must then enter this information correctly.

No insurance knowledge is needed to take the test. The Call test is used for television salesmen or administrative staff in dfe commercial sector.

In ADMITA, candidates have to use an information file to find a suitable supplier, name or product. They must then enter this information correctly.

The ADMITA test is important for jobs that require choices to be made using an information file. This is often the case for administrative jobs such as secretarial staff, file managers or employees in the purchasing department.

The Order consists of 4 parts that assess the skills useful for an order picker:
  • Checking whether a product reference is correct
  • Fastly selecting the desired product from a list
  • Fastly checking expiry dates
  • Conducting simple calculations

Are candidates able to find the requested information in a list? Do they adapt their search strategy to the query? Do they smoothly use tools such as filters and sorting? Do they work accurately? FLEX allows you to test these skills, which are increasingly important in the world of work.

The test consists of a checking and classification task in which candidates have to look up and classify information about municipalities as quickly and correctly as possible. The codes to classify the information change during the test.

Flex is mainly used in jobs where you need to be able to search through lists or databases of products and customers to find the necessary info. These skills are especially important in administrative contexts, such as office workers, staff employees, call centre workers and executive assistants. The test can also be used for clerical jobs for which you want to evaluate candidates’ work pace and precision.

The candidate is given a list of names and a matching number. Each question requires checking and classifying a name-number combination according to a legend.

The ADM is used for all clerical positions in an administrative environment such as executive assistant, salesperson, file manager, project manager, translator, administrative assistant or receptionist.
